The FES-UA Is the Largest Special Needs Scholarship in the US
Florida's Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities is administered by Step Up For Students — a nonprofit, not a state agency. Your funding amount is determined by your child's matrix level, assessed during the application process.

Your scholarship lives in an Education Savings Account (ESA), which you access through Step Up's online platform called EMA (Education Market Assistant). Use it to find and pay approved providers — like us — directly. No cash out of your pocket.
